SM Orchestra Plays Offenbach, Dvorak, and Led Zeppelin

On Monday, March 6, the St. Mark's Symphony Orchestra presented a concert for the entire school community in the Putnam Family Arts Center's Class of 1945 Hall.

SM Orchestra co-directors Kristian Baverstam and Meghan Carye led the talented ensemble through three pieces. First, they played selections from Jacques Offenbach's "Parisian Ballet" (arr. Isaac). Then they performed Antonín Dvořák's "American Suite" (arr. McBrien). Finally, they gave the audience an orchestral take on Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" (Plant-Page-Bonham; arr. McCarrick).

Rachel Hwang '18, Sabin Kim '17, and Carol Yin '17 are the Student Officers of the St. Mark's Orcestra.
