Five SM Athletes Sign Letters of Intent to Play in College

On Wednesday, November 8, five St. Markers signed Letters of Intent to attend and play in college and university sports programs. Wednesday was the first National Signing Day for the Class of 2018. All sports except football, soccer, and men's water polo could do an early signing on that date.

Caroline Peterson, a boarder from East Falmouth, MA, will be attending Providence College and will play women's ice hockey there. She was an All-ISL selection in hockey last winter. Also playing women's ice hockey, at the University of New Hampshire, will be Lindsey Dumond, a boarder from Hampton, NH. Lindsey was also an All-ISL selection in 2016-17, and was St. Mark's leading scorer. Grace Sambrook, a day student from Southborough, MA, will play field hockey at Wake Forest. Grace was All-ISL and NFHCA Regional all-star for last fall's winning SM team.

C.J. McKennitt, a day student from Concord, MA will attend Holy Cross and play baseball there. He was an All-ISL selection and St. Mark's MVP last spring. Nick Murray, a boarder from Tyngsborough, MA who earned All-ISL recognition in 2016, will play baseball at the University of Cincinnati.

Congratulations to all these fine student-athletes.
