As I complete my first year, I could not be more enthusiastic about the state of the school. I hope you share that sentiment. Much was accomplished in 2006-2007, and while St. Mark’s is thriving by all objective and subjective measures, we are working constantly to become even stronger.

I love the beginning of a school year. First of all, there is just so much positive energy on campus. Those of you who are returning have fun reconnecting with friends and with faculty and are eager to help new students become comfortable and happy at St. Mark’s. Those of us returning on the faculty are excited to reconnect in just the same way and eager to help new students and new faculty feel comfortable and happy at St. Mark’s. Those new to the St. Mark’s community, students and faculty, bring an exciting energy and new perspective that is enriching for all of us who are returning to experience.
