St. Mark’s School offers two institutes over the summer with outstanding faculty and opportunities for music study and performance in our Putnam Family Arts Center and the Class of 1945 Hall.
St. Mark’s will host a Summer Brass Institute date to be announced soon. This brass seminar will bring together junior high & high school brass players for five days; rehearsing daily as a full brass ensemble, chamber groups (quartets-sextets), and performing a closing concert on Friday. Each day will alsoinclude instrument classes focused towards preparing district brass audition repertoire. Faculty members are local world-class performers & instructors.

St. Mark's School hosts the International Chamber Music Festival and Institute this summer, date to be released soon. The program, now in its eighth year offers private lessons, chamber music coaching, orchestra, master classes and a series of faculty and student concerts. Student musicians from the Metro West area join musicians from the wider New England region and international participants. Master teachers from Boston, New York and Moscow will serve as the faculty for the Festival and Institute. The Institute and Festival will be using the Class of 1945 Hall and the adjacent Music Center for study, rehearsals and performances.
