Megan Harlan

Mrs.Harlan begins her first year at St. Mark's School after serving as Director of the College Counseling Office at Princeton Day School in Princeton, New Jersey for the last three years. Before Princeton Day, Mrs. Harlan was the Senior Associate of College Counseling at Phillips Academy Andover between 2003 and 2006 and was a college counselor at St. Paul's School in Concord New Hampshire between 1998 and 2003. Besides guiding students through the college admissions process, Mrs. Harlan serves as a Weekend Administrator and will assist the Girl's Varsity Lacrosse team where she will use her twenty years of experience coaching lacrosse at the college and high school levels.

Mr. Zelaya joins the College Counseling Office after serving 4 years in the St. Mark’s Admission Office. He arrived at St. Mark’s in August 2004 after spending several years in the college admission offices at Trinity College and the University of Hartford. Outside of his college counseling duties, he serves as an academic advisor, is head of Thieriot House, a V and VI Form boys dorm, and coaches junior varsity baseball. Mr. Zelaya is a faculty member for the New England Association of College Admission Counseling's Summer Institute.
Lee Prudden Wells

Mrs. Wells has been a presence at St. Mark’s School for almost thirty years. She presently teaches three sections of German and serves as the Director of Testing and Tutoring. In that role she works closely with the College Office in overseeing and coordinating the PSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL and AP Tests. In addition, she manages educational testing at St. Mark’s. As Tutoring Director, she arranges SAT preparation and academic tutoring for students who are struggling in a course, who have exhausted all in-house resources for extra help and whose teacher recommends tutoring. In addition to her teaching, testing and tutoring duties, Mrs. Wells is Secretary of the Cum Laude Society. Before making St. Mark’s her home, Mrs. Wells worked for a book distributing company and spent a year assistant teaching English in Germany on a PAD-Fulbright Hays Grant.
