Ms. Behnke was appointed as the Director of Admission at St. Mark’s in June 2004 after spending 13 years as dean of admission at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, California. She began her career in 1981 as an admission intern at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama; served as college counselor and taught psychology at a boarding school for girls in Grand Coteau, Louisiana; and spent seven years in college admissions. Outside of admission, she is a faculty advisor, a member of the Thayer House faculty team, and spends free time swimming and playing golf and tennis. When she is not traveling, you can find her in her office with her two cocker spaniels, Chloe and Nettie.

Rohan M. Arjun

Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid
B.A., Temple University
M.S. Ed., Penn Graduate School of Education

Mr. Arjun, a native of Jamaica, joined the Admission Office as an Assistant Director of Admission in July 2012. Previously, he worked as an Admission/Global Service & Scholarship/Multicultural Affairs fellow at The Taft School in Watertown, CT for the 2011-12 academic year. In addition to his role in Admission, he is also a coach of Varsity Football and a house parent in Coe House. Mr. Arjun graduated from George School in Newtown, PA where he played football, ran track, led several clubs including UMOJA and the Diversity Steering Committee, was a Peer Group Leader, and Prefect his senior year. Following George School, Mr. Arjun attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, with a major in African American Studies and a minor in History. He has also served as a faculty member for the annual Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) since 2005.

Elizabeth Cavanaugh '04

Associate Director of Admission
B.A., The George Washington University

Ms. Cavanaugh, a 2004 graduate of St. Mark's School and a 2008 graduate of The George Washington University, joined the Admission Office in 2010. She manages the recruitment of all female student-athletes to St. Mark's. In addition to her role as Associate Director of Admission, she also serves as House Head, advisor, and coach. Ms. Cavanaugh is most known for her enthusiasm and love of the sport of rowing. After a successful Division I rowing career as a GW Colonial, stroking two Atlantic 10 Conference Championship crews, she is now the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls' Crew program. When she is not in the Admission Office or on the water, Ms. Cavanaugh enjoys running, coaching field hockey, and visiting family and friends around New England and Southern California. She lives on West Campus in Elm House with her golden retriever, George Washington Cavanaugh.

David Lubick* 

Associate Director of Admission; Director of Financial Aid
B.A., Harvard University

Mr. Lubick, a native of Amherst, NY, came to St. Mark’s in 1997 with his wife, Lisa, and his two sons, Nathanael (SM ’10) and Elias (SM ’12). In addition to his duties in the Admission Office as the Director of Financial Aid, he teaches Writing Seminar and Short Stories, sixth form English electives. Coaching basketball at SM for 15 years, Mr. Lubick led the nationally recognized Lions to 5 New England championships and more than 300 wins, sending dozens of players on to college basketball and careers in Europe and the NBA. A professional musician performing regularly around Boston’s Metrowest area, he is the school saxophone instructor, assists with the Jazz Ensemble, and leads the St. Mark’s Student Saxophone Quartet.

*Mr. Lubick will be away for the balance of school year 2016-17, on a school sponsored sabbatical. Anne Behnke, Director of Admission, will continue to oversee all facets of Admission as usual, including Financial Aid, facilitating the work of Rohan Arjun, the primary Administrator of FA for 2016-17.


Elise Morgan

Associate Director of Admission
B.A., Williams College

M.Ed., Harvard University

Ms. Morgan joined the admissions team at St. Mark's in July 2007. Ms. Morgan graduated from Williams College and has an M. Ed from Harvard University. She also spent six months studying at University College London and traveling throughout Sweden, Italy, Austria and Scotland. Prior to joining St. Mark's, Ms. Morgan worked in admissions at both Lawrence Academy and Cushing Academy and spent time working at Harvard University in the Office of the Dean of Harvard College. Ms. Morgan coaches the girls' junior varsity lacrosse team, is a faculty advisor and is a dorm affiliate in Thieriot dormitory.  She lives on campus with her husband, Chris; daughter, Emily; sons, Erik and Christopher; and dog, Lily.

Chris Young

Associate Director of Admission
B.S., St. Lawrence University

Mr. Young joined St. Mark’s in July of 2013 as an Assistant Director of Admission and Head Varsity Football Coach. Prior to working at St. Mark’s, Mr. Young was the special teams coordinator and defensive line coach at Assumption College. Mr. Young brings with him over six years of college coaching experience and his defensive lines at Assumption, Colby, and Bentley produced eight all conference players and three pre-season All Americans. Mr. Young was also part of Bentley’s league champion team in 2009. Mr. Young graduated from St. Lawrence University where he was a four year Letterman for the Saints at Defensive Tackle and graduated with degrees in Psychology, American Literature, and Education. He lives in Waltham with his wife Erica, son JD, and their two dogs Buddha and Rhylee.

Channing Weymouth

Associate Director of Admission
B.A., Middlebury College
M.A., Connecticut College

Ms. Weymouth joined the St. Mark's in 2013 as an Admission Counselor and Head Coach of the Varsity Field Hockey and Varsity Girls' Lacrosse teams. She earned her Masters Degree in Psychology from Connecticut College. While at Connecticut College she was also an assistant coach for field hockey and women's lacrosse. Ms. Weymouth completed her undergraduate studies at Middlebury College and was an All Conference field hockey player. She also played lacrosse, winning the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004.

Ayaka Okawa
Ayaka Okawa

Admission Counselor
B.A., Bowdoin College

Ms. Okawa will join St. Mark's in the fall of 2016 as an Admission Counselor.  She previously worked in admission at The White Mountain School and taught filmmaking for Tabor Academy's Summer Program.   Ms. Okawa graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Education Studies.  In her free time she enjoys squash and sailing.  While at Bowdoin she was Captain of the Varsity Sailing Team and was certified as a US Sailing Small Boat Level 1 Sailing Instructor.
