Anne Behnke

Ms. Behnke was appointed as the Director of Admission at St. Mark’s in June 2004 after spending 13 years as dean of admission at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, California. She began her career in 1981 as an admission intern at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama; served as college counselor and taught psychology at a boarding school for girls in Grand Coteau, Louisiana; and spent seven years in college admissions. Outside of admission, she is a faculty advisor, a member of the Thayer House faculty team, and spends free time swimming and playing golf and tennis. When she is not traveling, you can find her in her office with her two cocker spaniels, Chanel and Chloe.

Ms. Fuller joined St. Mark’s as Associate Director of Admission in July 2008. Previously, she was the Director of Admission and Director of International Student Affairs at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. In addition to her role in admission, Ms. Fuller is also the Director of Multicultural Affairs at St. Mark's, she serves as a faculty and yearbook advisor, and is part of the Thieriot dorm duty team. She is a graduate of Webber International University and lives on campus along with her husband David and their children Roman, a St. Mark’s IVth Former, Alexa, and their beautiful dog Chessie.

David Lubick

Mr. Lubick, a native of Amherst, NY, came to St. Mark’s in 1997 with his wife, Lisa, and his two sons, Nathanael and Elias. In addition to his duties in the Admission Office as the Director of Financial Aid, he teaches Writing Seminar and Short Stories, sixth form English electives, and he is the head coach of Varsity Boy’s Basketball. A former professional musician, Mr. Lubick spends a great deal of time in the fitness room convincing wayward, Rap-happy students about the virtues of Jazz, R&B, and Classic Soul.

Elise Morgan

Ms. Morgan joined the admissions team at St. Mark’s in July 2007. Ms. Morgan graduated from Williams College and has an M. Ed from Harvard University. She also spent six months studying at University College London and traveling throughout Sweden, Italy, Austria and Scotland. Prior to joining St. Mark’s, Ms. Morgan worked in admissions at both Lawrence Academy and Cushing Academy and spent time working at Harvard University in the Office of the Dean of Harvard College. Ms. Morgan coaches the girls’ junior varsity lacrosse team, is a faculty advisor and is a dorm parent in the Pine/Oak dormitory. She lives in Pine/Oak along with her husband, Chris, daughter, Emily, son, Erik, dog, Lily and cat, Pindy.

Liz Cavanaugh '04 joined the Admission Office as Admission Counselor in July 2010. Previously, she worked in the Development Office as Assistant Director of Alumni/ae & Parent Programs for two years. In addition to her role in Admission, Liz is also the Dorm Head of Thayer, and coaches Girls’ Crew and Squash. Liz graduated from St. Mark’s in 2004 with a Classics Diploma, and also served as a Monitor, Dorm Prefect, and Girls’ Crew Captain. Following St. Mark’s, Liz attended The George Washington University, where she graduated with a B.A. in American Studies, with minors in Art History and Classics. She also rowed four years of crew for the GW Colonials, earning two Atlantic 10 titles and team MVP.

Originally from Guatemala, Axel joined the St. Mark's community in the summer of 2008 as a Spanish intern teacher. A Spanish and sociology double major at St. Lawrence University, Axel was the captain of the St. Lawrence University soccer team his last two years. As an intern, Axel taught two Spanish courses, coached Varsity boys soccer, girls JV squash and boys JV lacrosse, was a dorm parent and faculty advisor. In 2009 Axel joined the admission office as an Admission Counselor while continuing to teach Spanish and coach soccer.

Brandon joined the team at St. Mark's in the summer of 2009. A 2005 graduate of Davidson College, he majored in psychology, and played football and wrestled. Prior to joining St. Mark's, Brandon spent several years in the financial services industry with Wachovia Corporation and Wells Fargo & Company. In addition to his admissions responsibilities, he is the dorm head for Sawyer House, the Head Coach of Varsity wrestling, and a football coach.
