Anne Behnke

Ms. Behnke was appointed as the Director of Admission at St. Mark’s in June 2004 after spending 13 years as dean of admission at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, California. She began her career in 1981 as an admission intern at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama; served as college counselor and taught psychology at a boarding school for girls in Grand Coteau, Louisiana; and spent seven years in college admissions. Outside of admission, she is a faculty advisor, a member of the Thayer House faculty team, and spends free time swimming and playing golf and tennis. When she is not traveling, you can find her in her office with her two cocker spaniels, Chanel and Sophia.
David Lubick

Mr. Lubick, a native of Amherst, NY, came to St. Mark’s in 1997 with his wife, Lisa, and his two sons, Nathanael and Elias. In addition to his duties in the Admission Office as the Director of Financial Aid, he teaches Writing Seminar and Short Stories, sixth form English electives, and he is the head coach of Varsity Boy’s Basketball. A former professional musician, Mr. Lubick spends a great deal of time in the fitness room convincing wayward, Rap-happy students about the virtues of Jazz, R&B, and Classic Soul.

Along with his wife, Stacie, and three young children, Nick, Alex, and Rebecca, Mr. Zelaya arrived at St. Mark’s in August 2004 after spending several years in college admissions. Currently, his primary responsibilities center on student recruitment initiatives, including travel throughout New England, Mid-Atlantic, and West Coast states and serving as liaison between various secondary school placement programs. Outside of admission, Mr. Zelaya serves as an academic advisor, is head of Thieriot House, a fifth- and sixth-form boys dorm, and coaches junior varsity baseball.

Mr. Reid joined the St. Mark’s Admission Office in the summer of 2007. Before moving to New England, he was a lifelong resident of Minnesota. He began his career working in the sales and service office for the Minnesota Wild before returning to his alma mater, Gustavus Adolphus College, where he worked in admissions for five years. At Gustavus, Mr. Reid also coached the men's and women's hockey teams. His wife Anna teaches English at St. Mark's and they have two children, Lachen (6) and Aksel (4).

Ms. Morgan joined the admissions team at St. Mark’s in July 2007 along with her husband, Chris, and her yellow lab, Lily. A psychology major and graduate of Williams College where she played varsity soccer and lacrosse, Ms. Morgan has an M. Ed from Harvard University and spent six months studying at University College London and traveling throughout Sweden, Italy, Austria and Scotland. Prior to joining St. Mark’s, Ms. Morgan spent several years working in admissions at both Lawrence Academy and Cushing Academy. Earlier in her career she worked at Harvard University in the Office of the Dean of Harvard College. In addition to her admissions responsibilities, Ms. Morgan coaches girls’ lacrosse, is a faculty advisor and a dorm parent. Fond of the outdoors, Ms. Morgan has run the Boston Marathon and biked extensively in Alaska.
