Alumni/ae

Welcome to the Alumni/ae section of the St. Mark’s website! This is where former students of the school can obtain information and updates on school, regional, and chapter events, as well as classmates. The primary goal of the Alumni/ae Office is to encourage interaction between alumni/ae and the school. We do this through various means: this website, receptions, events and activities, our magazine (which features alumni/ae class notes), the AEC’s online newsletter, and volunteer opportunities.

In terms of receptions and events, a goal is set annually for both increased general participation and expanded chapter activities. The regions we attempt to visit each year are those with the largest numbers of alumni/ae: Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Seattle. Additionally, our chapters in Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco become stronger and more independent each year. Through these chapters, we have provided St. Markers the opportunity to see The Odd Couple on Broadway and Damn Yankees in D.C., to tour the West Wing of the White House, to take an insider’s tour of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, to attend gatherings in Reunion Village at the Head of the Charles Regatta, and to enjoy casual pub nights for young alumni/ae — and this is by no means a complete listing!

I must remind you about our online Career Networking database. Through this feature, St. Mark’s alumni/ae can find other St. Markers in a given region or a given industry. It is an excellent way to reconnect with old friends, further your career, or volunteer to mentor other St. Markers in your area of expertise.

Finally, I want to encourage you to continue checking this website — it is updated frequently and will keep you abreast of what is going on here at school and in the alumni/ae community. I would be most happy to hear suggestions, feedback, and comments from you on all of our programs — or on those you would like to see.

I often reflect on the relationships I made in high school, and am continually amazed by the impact they've had on my life and how strong they remain.
