Kirk Swenson

Kirk moved from higher education to head St. Mark's Advancement Office in 2008. In his role as Chief Advancement Officer, Kirk works with the Board of Trustees and Head of School to advance their vision for the School. Kirk takes great pride in leading the group responsible for building relationships and securing the resources needed to make St. Mark's the best small boarding school in the country! Kirk helps coach the boys varsity hockey team and teaches a seminar course in sustainability. As a member of the faculty, Kirk lives on campus with his wife Whitney and their son Owen.

Stephanie joined the St. Mark’s School community as the Annual Fund Director in August 2009 and later expanded her role to include oversight of alumni and parent engagement activities. Prior to this, she held various positions in alumni affairs and development at Harvard University and the University of Rochester. Stephanie loves working with her team to provide meaningful opportunities to engage our constituents and deepen the connections among alumni, parents, and students. Stephanie holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MA in Art History from New York University.  


Christine Del Favero

Christine came to St. Mark's in 2011 with a background in alumni relations and fundraising in museums and higher education. Working closely with the Parents' Association, Christine provides opportunities for parents to become engaged with the life of the School through volunteering and supporting the Annual Fund. Christine loves working with the dedicated parents who do so much to enrich our St. Mark's community.  


Hilary Rouse

Hilary joined St. Mark’s from Suffield Academy in July 2012 with a background in alumni relations and fundraising. Hilary supports Class Agents from 1937-1999 in their role of connecting classmates to St. Mark’s, each other, and asking for Annual Fund support. She also works with Reunion classes and the planning committees for Reunion, Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Distinguished Alumni Awards to create successful events that bring alumni back to campus. Hilary is a graduate of Suffield Academy, Gettysburg College, and Loyola University Maryland and lives with her husband, Dave, in Maynard.  

Melissa Anderson

Melissa joined the Advancement team in 2010 after gaining fundraising experience at a local NPR affiliate. As Assistant Director of Alumni & Parent Engagement Melissa oversees the operational aspects of the Annual Fund including mail and email solicitations. Highlights of her time spent at St. Mark's include educating current students about the annual fund and managing the student philanthropy program.

Sarah Smith

Sarah joined St. Mark's from Buckingham, Browne & Nichols in July 2015 with a background in event management and fundraising. Sarah produces all St. Mark's alumni events and manages the Young Alumni Executive Committee (YALC). In addition, she supports Class Agents from 2001-2015 and Regional Chapters. Sarah is a graduate of St. Andrew's Episcopal School (Potomac, MD) and Babson College. She lives with her boyfriend, Nick Wilkins, an 8th grade English teacher at The Carroll School, and their beloved Westie in Concord.

Heather Stacchi

Director of Major Gifts

Heather moved from higher education to become St. Mark’s new Director of Major Gifts in January 2013. In her role, Heather manages the leadership giving team and has the pleasure of traveling the country to build relationships with alumni and parents who are willing to invest their time and resources in St. Mark’s future. Heather lives in Chelmsford with her husband Mike and her daughter Madeleine, who aspires to be a future Lion.

Bill Bagley

Director of Planned Giving

Bill is an attorney whose background in institutional advancement ranges from service as assistant director of a university museum at Yale to service as an advisor to a Ford Foundation initiative in affordable housing and as senior philanthropic advisor to the Trustees of Reservations. At St. Mark’s, Bill works to encourage the use of planned gifts to advance the School’s work and is the liaison to the 50th Reunion Class. He strives to help alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends design gifts that benefit families and the School alike.  

Nate Cohen

Major Gifts Officer

Nate joined the St. Mark's Advancement Office as Major Gifts Officer in January of 2014 and is passionate about education. He strives to build meaningful relationships that have the power to advance the current and future state of St. Mark's. He takes delight in learning what makes St. Markers everywhere extraordinary. Nate and his wife Rachel live in Brookline.

John joined the team after serving in the Marine Corps for 28 years. Having lived a life of service and leadership, John happily found an organization that allows him to continue to serve. He enjoys meeting St. Markers wherever they may be, building meaningful relationships and advancing this great institution. John lives in Shrewsbury with his wife and two children.

Rita Kincaid

Major Gifts Officer
Rita moved from Higher Education to join the St. Mark’s team as a Major Gifts Officer in October of 2014. Rita aims to advance the mission of St. Mark’s by developing and cultivating relationships with alumni and parents. She values time spent with St. Markers and enjoys discussing St. Mark’s proud history and bright future. Rita lives in Maynard with her husband Brice and their golden retriever Mackenzie. 

Christy Bradley

Development Assistant

Christy moved back to the Boston area after spending two years living in Aspen, Colorado and joined the St. Mark's Advancement team in the fall of 2013. As Development Assistant, she works closely with the Major Gifts Officers and supports the Alumni and Parent programs. She is a graduate of Brooks School and Trinity College.

Amy Tesoro

Director of Advancement Services

Amy began working at St. Mark’s in 2012. As the Director of Advancement Services, she maintains constituent data and executes many of the Advancement Office operational functions, including gift processing and reporting. She lives with her family in Westborough.  


Arielle Driscoll

Advancement Communications Manager

Arielle Driscoll joined St. Mark's in May of 2015 as Advancement Communications Manager. She has vast experience in the independent school world, having grown up on the St. Paul’s campus, where her father is a chaplain; she has also worked at Noble & Greenough, Worcester Academy, and most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Oak Meadow School in Littleton. Arielle is a graduate of St. Paul’s and Boston University, and lives with her husband and daughter in Methuen.

Megan Hyland

Stewardship Manager

Megan joined the St. Mark’s team in August 2012. As Stewardship Manager, she is responsible for ensuring all gifts are properly acknowledged, recognized, and used for their intended purposes as well as communicating with donors regarding the current value and impact of their gifts. She partners with the Advancement team on events and programs that enhance the School’s relationships with current and future donors, and with the Student Enrichment office on the Career Day program and student grant awards. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University at Albany, where she also worked for the Alumni Association and served as their first Director of Stewardship. Megan lives in Shrewsbury with her husband and two daughters.
