Chip Norris, a member of the Alumni/ae and Development Office since 1980, is currently Executive Director of Development and Alumni/ae Relations. He and his staff are responsible for the recently concluded capital campaign and all other capital and planned gifts, as described in the Ways of Giving section; the Annual Fund; and all alumni/ae and parent activities and publications.

Erin Hartnett joined the Development Office in July 2003. Formerly, the Associate Director of Development & Parent Relations and Director of the Annual Fund, Erin now oversees the day to day operations of the development office. In 2007, she received the Rising Star Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Erin lives in Thieriot dormitory with her husband, Matt, and their children, Quinn, Griffin and Chloe.

Mary Piekarz joined the Alumni/ae and Development Office in March of 2007 and was promoted to her position of Director of the Annual Fund in August 2007. Mary earned her MBA from SUNY Buffalo and had experience in marketing and management before joining the Southborough Organization for Schools in 2000 and becoming its president in 2005. Mary’s extensive experience working with volunteers makes her a natural for this position.

Marissa Halligan joined the Office of Development and Alumni/ae Relations in August 2005 as the school's Assistant Director of the Annual Fund. She assists with the management of the Annual Fund program in general and with the youngest alumni/ae classes in particular. She also coaches the St. Mark's girls varsity hockey team.

Paul B. Mountcastle ‘95

Paul Mountcastle ’95, Director of Alumni/ae and Parent Programs, returned to St. Mark’s in May 2007. He is responsible for overseeing all alumni/ae and parent activities, including Reunion Weekend, alumni/ae receptions, Parents’ Weekend, Schuh Golf Tournament and AEC activities.

Ann Bernardo, Manager of Development and Alumni/ae Programs, joined the office in August 2003. She is responsible for the management of all activities related to capital, Annual Fund, parent and alumni/ae fund raising, including coordination of all reporting and statistical analysis, prospect research, oversight and administration of the database system, training and computer support.

Francie Chase joined the office in September, 2007 in the role of Administrative Assistant. Francie supports all aspects of the alumni/ae and parent relations program as well as assisting on Capital initiatives. She is a graduate of Skidmore College, a soccer coach for the town of Southborough, a volunteer in the public schools and in 2007 she ran the Boston Marathon.

Gretta Holland joined the Development office in December, 2007. Gretta will be supporting capital fundraising efforts as an administrative assistant to the Executive Director and Major Gift Officers. She will also lend support to major alumni events and assist in general office duties. She has a degree in marketing management. Her past experience campaigning for charity and non profit organizations will benefit the office.
