Volunteer for St. Mark's

St. Mark’s alumni/ae are generous in volunteering time, effort, and resources to their alma mater. We encourage you to think about how you can best give back to St. Mark's. Alumni/ae and Development staff member Christine Kurtz supports our Class Agents and is always happy to discuss ways in which you can help ensure today’s students receive the excellent experience for which St. Mark’s is known. St. Mark's is for a lifetime, and we'd love to hear from you.

Class Agents

Every St. Mark’s class has one or more Class Agents who keep classmates connected and build financial support for St. Mark's. These alumni/ae Give to St. Mark's, Connect classmates to each other and the School, and Ask classmates to join them in supporting the St. Mark's Annual Fund. Class Agents are the backbone of fundraising at St. Mark’s, and the School counts on them for address updates, classmate information, class notes for the St. Mark’s Magazine, and fund-raising efforts.  We welcome anyone who would like to get more involved in this way.

You can learn more by reading our online Class Agent Handbook or contacting Associate Director of Annual Giving Christine Kurtz.

Phonathons

Mike Tyler and Artie Newbold

Several times a year and in various cities across the country, St. Mark’s hosts phonathons to raise money for the Annual Fund. Phonathons usually take place in the office buildings of local alumni/ae or at an organization affiliated with one of our constituents. All alumni/ae and parents from the area are invited to join us in making phone calls. We provide dinner and updates on what is going on at St. Mark’s. We are always looking for locations and welcome your suggestions.  Phonathons are wonderful opportunities to hear about St. Mark’s and meet other St. Markers from your area. Alumni/ae support during phonathons is critical to maintaining the success of the Annual Fund and we hope you'll attend these events when you can, and respond enthusiastically when you are called.
