Volunteerism
St. Mark’s alumni/ae are encouraged to volunteer their time and effort to benefit their alma mater. Provided on this page are suggestions of how one might give back to the school, to ensure today’s students continue to receive the excellent learning experience for which St. Mark’s is known.
Class Agents
Every St. Mark’s class has one or more class agents that assist the Office of Development in reunion planning and the solicitation of their classmates. These alumni/ae receive regular reports on what is happening at St. Mark’s, as well as class lists and giving information updated every two to three weeks. Class agents are the backbone of fund raising at St. Mark’s, and the school counts on them for address updates, classmate information, class notes for the St. Mark’s Magazine, and fund-raising efforts. We welcome anyone from a given class who would like to get more involved in this way.

Phonathons
Several times a year and in various cities across the country, St. Mark’s hosts phonathons to raise money for the Annual Fund. These phonathons usually take place in the office buildings of local alumni/ae or at an organization affiliated with one of our constituents. All alumni/ae and parents from the area are invited to join us in making phone calls. We provide dinner, drinks and updates on what is going on at St. Mark’s. We are always looking for locations and would welcome any suggestions. These phonathons are wonderful opportunities to hear about St. Mark’s but also to meet other St. Markers from your area. The support we receive from our alumni/ae is critical to maintaining the success of the Annual Fund and any support you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
