2013 Pre-Season Information

Where/When:

Fall pre-season for Varsity athletes (invite only) will run from Tuesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 6th. Registration will take place at the FRONT ENTRANCE to the school.


8:00AM Football registration @ Front Circle
After registration, report to Equipment Room to receive equipment, helmets, locks
9:00AM Field Hockey and Cross Country (girls’ and boys’) registration @ Front Circle
After registration, report to Equipment Room to receive equipment, locks
10:00AM Soccer (girls’ and boys’) registration @ Front Circle
After registration, report to Equipment Room to receive equipment, locks

Please note:

  • Students will not be allowed to move into the dormitories before 9:00AM
  • JV and 3rd teams will begin practice on Friday, September 6th at 3:30PM.

Housing:

All boarding students will be housed in their permanent dorm room for the school year during pre-season.

Reminder: Students will not be allowed to move into the dormitories before 9:00am and due to the shortened preseason schedule, day students will not be allowed to stay in the dormitories.

What to Bring:

Students will be issued St. Mark’s practice gear, but should bring other sport-specific clothing and equipment. Also bring casual clothes, personal items, bedding (the School's contracted linen service is not available during pre-season), and sunscreen.
*Water bottle- Every student must bring their own water bottle!

Medical:

Ms. Thelen and Mr. Cox, the School's Certified Athletic Trainers, will be available throughout pre-season. Student-athletes who have medical information pertinent to their participating in pre-season athletics should contact Ms. Thelen prior to arrival on campus at (508)-786-6144. A 24-hour nurse will also be on call in Health Services throughout pre-season. All health records must be complete and on file in Health Services before students will be allowed to participate. Students will not be allowed to remain on campus if their health records are not complete or on file in Health Services. Please contact Health Services at (508)-786-6371 with any questions.

Permissions:

Student driving permissions will not be in effect during pre-season. Boarding students may not leave campus during pre-season.
