On Wednesday, St. Mark’s welcomed the Tabor Seawolves, who are consistently a strong, tough team. Tabor played fast and furious, but the Lions responded with great passes and strong defense. St. Mark’s scored 6 minutes into the game off a play that demonstrates the team’s improved passing and teamwork skills: Catherine Moubayed ’12 crossed the ball to Emma Zeiler ’10, who redirected it to Mia Kennedy-Smith ’10 for the tip-in. Tabor came back with increased determination, and the score remained 1-0 until the last few minutes of the game, when Zeiler put another one into the net to make the final score 2-0.
