The Haiti Partnership Committee is comprised of nearly 30 students and faculty members who work together to raise awareness about Haitian culture and offer support to our partner school, École Ste. Marguerite in Latournelle, Haiti. The committee consists of three branches: fundraising, education/outreach and communication. Each branch has a pair of student leaders who together make up the Haiti Partnership Steering Committee, which meets regularly to discuss programming and long-term goals. Past and future events include sponsorship of Broadway Nights, planning a trip for selected students to Latournelle, Haitian meals in the dining hall and educational workshops. The HPC and HPSC offer independent leadership opportunities to students in St. Mark’s forms.
