- Fenway Park, Faneuil Hall, it’s all within an easy ride… Boston is a popular destination for students’ off-campus weekend activities. St. Markers can journey into the city on a school van to shop, sightsee, or attend one of the many cultural offerings.
St. Mark’s is blessed in its proximity to historic Boston and the rich, varied cultural opportunities this cosmopolitan center provides. Within 30 minutes, students can savor the sounds of the renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra in Symphony Hall, see Shakespeare come to life on the Huntington Theatre stage, or study Rembrandt’s self-portrait at the Isabella Steward Gardner Museam.
Boston is a city rich in educational resources.
Boston provides tremendous educational assets to complement St. Mark's academic offerings and broaden students' cultural appreciation. Faculty take full advantage of the available resources. Art history students come face-to-face with original works at the Museam of Fine Arts, choral and instrumental students benefit from an active teaching and coaching partnership with the New England Conservatory of Music, and science and math classes explore special hands-on exhibits at the Museam of Science.
