Chapel
Rooted within its traditional ties to Christianity in general and the Episcopal Church in particular, St. Mark’s Chapel is a place of welcome and spiritual exploration.

The Chapel Program at St. Mark’s School is rich in content and diverse in expression. Responsible and responsive to the spiritual life of the school community, which is composed of many diverse faith traditions, the program is designed to address and minister to the different spiritual needs of students, faculty, staff, and alumni/ae through liturgy, pastoral care, the St. Mark’s Society, community service, and related programs and outreach.

Rooted within its traditional ties to Christianity in general and the Episcopal Church in particular, this is a place of welcome and spiritual exploration. We offer a program of service to the founding principles of the school and its mission to serve the spiritual needs of all students and members of the community without demanding adherence to any particular faith or tradition.

Chapel provides space and time to consider and grapple with “the great questions” of faith and life in sacred setting and faithful atmosphere.

The Rev. Edmund K. Sherrill II
