    Dear Parents,

    Saturday night saw many students descend on the Hinkle Room ready to try their hand at poker, roulette, bingo and blackjack. Similar to last year, Casino Night was tied into the year-long House Cup Challenge, with students earning a chance to win individual prizes (mostly food) as well as house points. We had numerous dedicated parents who gave up their Saturday night to serve as dealers. Many thanks to those parents (who seemed to have a fun time as well). Their efforts in creating a festive and fun atmosphere for the students were truly appreciated in creating a great community event!

  • Dean's Office Newsletter January 6th, 2012

    Dear Parents,

    We are excited to announce the opening of the new and improved Lions’ Den! This new, full-service, snack bar sits immediately adjacent to the Dixon Room in the Main Building. The Lions’ Den includes a grill, deep fryer, pizza oven, snacks, and drinks. Students will be able to grab something to eat while socializing in the Dixon Room. Still operating in "early launch" mode, the Lions’ Den is working out the kinks that are typically associated with running a new food operation. Nevertheless, Thursday, our first day of operation, was a big hit. Over 130 students took advantage of the new amenities. Many thanks go out to our Monitors, including last year’s class, for their leadership and input.
