St.Mark’s School is an outstanding school in part because of the consistent support of alumni/ae, parents, grandparents, faculty and friends. Generations of St. Markers and their families have benefited from the gifts of those who came before them. There are many ways to contribute to the success and progress of St. Mark’s including gifts to the Annual Fund, capital contributions, planned giving and volunteer work. St. Mark’s values involvement and support in all of these areas, which are critical to achieving our School’s mission of creating an environment where students can be inspired academically, artistically, physically and spiritually for lives of consequence.
Many are surprised to learn that tuition only covers 64% of the cost to educate a St. Mark’s student. Gifts to St. Mark’s bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a St. Mark’s education. Financial contributions also allow St. Mark’s to meet both short- and long-term goals that directly impact the lives of students today and for years to come. Thanks to recent gifts to St. Mark’s, we were able to install computers and printers in each dorm, implement an organic fertilization program for our athletic fields, and renovate the Chapel to add seating for all students. Robust giving is also seen as an indicator of the health and vibrancy of a school, helping to attract the best students and faculty and heightening St. Mark’s reputation in the world.
Thank you for your interest in supporting St. Mark’s School. We pledge to ensure that your gift is put to its best and highest use as we work to educate young people for lives of leadership and service.
