Visitor Policy

Fall 2021 St. Mark's School Visitor Policy

St. Mark’s School welcomes our vendors and visitors to campus and requires the following health and safety protocols:

A visitor for purposes of this policy is defined as anyone who is not a current member of the St. Mark’s community, defined as students, faculty, staff, and on-campus faculty family members.

All visitors, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, should adhere to the School’s mask policy, which requires masks be worn at all times when indoors in any space on campus. This expectation remains in place until further notice.

We ask that no visitors eat in our Dining Halls in order to ensure our community remains safe while dining on campus.

Before arriving on campus, we ask that you self-monitor for any COVID-19 symptoms and do not head to campus if any symptoms are present.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
Visitors and vendors/contractors should sign in at the Main Reception desk. This is for contact tracing purposes. Vendors/contractors for the Facilities Department should sign in at the loading dock at the Main Building. Visitors attending larger pre-planned events, such as orientation/registration day, or other similar events are not required to sign-in at the main reception desk however we ask that they adhere to our other protocols within this policy.

Athletics spectators who are outdoors do not need to sign in at the Main Reception desk.

Questions should be directed to the manager/supervisor of the related department for the visitor and can be communicated with the Health and Safety Task Force.

This policy will be revisited in late September and is subject to change based on conditions.
