Caleb Cochran
Nasra Ayub, a freelance writer and international campaigner based in England, spoke to the St. Mark's community on Thursday, January 30, as part of this year's Gray Colloquium speaker series, which is themed "You're Never Too Young to Change the World."
Nasra is a recipient of the 2020 Diana Award for her work in tackling violence against women and girls. She has been featured in The Guardian and on ITV, BBC Three, and BBC 1, speaking on race and other social justice issues.
She mostly covers politics, social and cultural issues, race and religion. Nasra has previously written for gal-dem, Stylist, DAZED, Metro and more. She has a politics and philosophy degree from the University of Bristol.
