Meet the New Deans

St. Mark’s is excited to welcome three new Deans to our Faculty and Staff! Each brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to our community.

Robert Fish
Dean of Students, Assistant Head of School

Rob Fish joins St. Mark’s as Dean of Students after impactful roles at The Masters School, where he served as Dean of Ninth Grade, Dean of Global Studies, and Dorm Director. A former professor and director at the Japan Society in New York, he is fluent in Japanese and passionate about international learning. Known for balancing warmth with accountability, Rob ensures students feel seen and supported while challenging them to grow into their best selves.

 

Christina "CK" Kennedy
Dean of Academics, Assistant Head of School

CK brings more than two decades of experience as an educator and leader in academic programming. Most recently the Dean of Academics at Tabor, she has advanced curriculum design, experiential learning, and generative AI policy while keeping students at the center. Earlier in her career she taught ESL in China, chaired a math department, and coached athletics. Respected for her strategic thinking and empathy, CK builds trust and collaboration while guiding schools toward a bold academic vision.

 

Amy Kumpel
Dean of Faculty, Assistant Head of School

With a strong background in faculty development and student life, Amy Kumpel joins St. Mark’s from Dana Hall, where she served as Director of the Upper School. Previously at Concord Academy, she led the Science Department and co-chaired major initiatives in evaluation and professional growth. Amy is recognized as a decisive, collaborative leader who supports teachers with thoughtful feedback and clear direction, helping both faculty and students thrive.

 

We are thrilled to welcome Rob, Christina, and Amy to St. Mark’s and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our Lions this year.
