Post-Season Action for Two SM Teams
Post-Season Action for Two SM Teams

With her dramatic overtime goal against Groton this past Saturday, Faith Jennings '19 sent St. Mark's varsity field hockey into the New England Prep School Athletic Conference playoffs. And with a 4-2 win against Groton, SM girls' varsity soccer is also headed to the NEPSAC postseason mix.

At 9-7-1, SM field hockey will host Williston-Northampton (8-7-0 in 2018) in the quarterfinal round of the NEPSAC Class B tournament on St. Mark's Sargent Family Turf Field, at 2:15 p.m., Wednesday, November 14. St. Mark's defeated Williston by a score of 3-1 back in September. This certainly is gearing up to be an exciting game.

The Lions' 10-7-1 girls' varsity soccer contingent travels to Rivers (13-3-1 this fall) to take on the home team. Although St. Mark's lost to Rivers back in October, they are a stronger, battle-tested team today. That contest starts at 2:00 p.m.
