On Tuesday evening, February 19, alumnus Ibrahim Ayub, SM Class of 2010, was the guest speaker at the evening service in Belmont Chapel.
Known as "Ibs" during his time at St. Mark's, Ibrahim was Head Monitor in his VI Form year. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Ayub is currently a manager in experience design and digital strategy at PwC. He focuses on customer-centricity through reframing problems and translating customer needs into enhanced products and services, taking a holistic approach to client challenges.
At Tuesday's chapel service, Ayub shared stories of his time at the School. He also spoke about the importance of "attention" in life. His presentation was well-received, as he urged St. Markers to be whom they choose to be.
There was music aplenty, as the choir sang a choral prelude, two canticles, and an anthem, while leading everyone in two hymns—all this in anticipation of the choir trip to Ireland over this coming March break.
