The St. Mark's Admission Office reports great success as it looks ahead to the 2020-2021 academic year. This coming fall, St. Mark's will welcome 105 new students, and 24 states and 15 countries will be represented in next year's student body.
New students will be coming from Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Virginia. "We are excited to add Arizona and Kentucky, two states we have not seen enrollment from in some years," says Director of Admission Anne Behnke.
In addition to 45 percent of all new domestic boarders coming from outside Massachusetts, new international students will be coming from Canada, China,, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
"I give an enormous amount of credit to my team, as we had to change course and offer our Revisit Days virtually," says Ms. Behnke. "We feel very blessed to have realized full enrollment during this very challenging time in our world's history."
The Admission Office will be conducting a series of Zoom meet-ups with the new families, and Ms. Behnke's team is already set to start the exciting work of introducing St. Mark's to 2021-2022 prospective families, with the first virtual open house on Wednesday night, May 13.
