On Saturday, January 21, eleven students and nine adults from St. Mark's rode into Boston on a Southborough-sponsored
community bus to take part in that day's Women's March.
Among the 175,000 participants, in addition to the contingent from the School, a number of faculty, staff, and alumni/ae marched in Boston on Saturday. Among them: faculty member Lee Wells, her son Christopher Wells '13, SM staffer Nick Noble '76, Southborough School alumna Bonnie Brumet Dean, former St. Marker David Kelly '87, and SM trustee Bill Burgess '77.
Other SM faculty marching included Barbara Putnam, Aggie Belt, Peter Glomset, Liz McColloch, Jeniene Matthews, and Henry Upton.
It was an exciting day for the St. Mark's marchers. The participation of students and faculty was sponsored by the School's
office of Community and Equity.
