Fishers Island Reception

Join us for a casual reception at the Fishers Island Yacht Club. This is an opportunity to connect with Head of School Dr. Ivory D. Hills, catch up with fellow Lions, and build new connections within the St. Mark’s community. The event is hosted by Maria and David Patterson ’66; Eloise Patterson ’98; Elizabeth Rutherfurd Santini ’95 and Michael Santini P’26; Ellet Kidd Veale and Geoffrey Veale P’27; Emily Rutherfurd Gallagher '93 and Loch Gallagher '93, P'27; and Donald Hoitt McAllister III ’08 and Sharon McAllister.
Getting there: The following options are available for transportation to and from Fishers Island:
- Fishers Island Ferry: The Terminal is located at 5 Waterfront Park, New London, CT. The ferry schedule can be found here. Note: The ferry takes about 45 minutes to reach Fishers Island.
- Private Chartered Boat: The reception hosts have chartered a private boat through West Cove Charters that will leave from 25 Cove Street, Noank, CT 06340 at 5:30 p.m. sharp on Saturday, July 26. There is limited space available on this charter. There are 10 parking spots and 30 passenger seats. If you would like to sign up for a spot on the private charter, please sign up via this link as soon as possible to ensure your spot. Note: Please plan on arriving by 5:15 p.m. at the earliest. The boat will be leaving promptly at 5:30 p.m. and will not wait for late arrivals. The charter takes about 20 minutes to reach Fishers Island.
- Personal watercraft: If you have your own boat, there are slips available at the Fishers Island Yacht Club dock. Please let us know if you plan on coming by personal watercraft, so we have an idea of how many slips will be needed.
