2019 Preseason (invite only)

Fall Varsity Preseason Information

Fall preseason for Varsity athletes (invite only) will run from Tuesday, September 3 to Friday, September 6. Registration will take place at the Front Circle to the school.

*New students not attending preseason will sign up for a fall sport during orientation on Wednesday, September 4. Please contact John Levandowski ( with questions.

*Please note that JV and 3rd teams will begin practice on Friday, September 6 at 3:45 p.m.

First Day of Classes

All boarding students will be housed in their assigned dorm room for the school year during Preseason. Boarders will receive their room assignment and key at registration under the tent. Students will not be allowed to move into the houses before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3 and day students will not be allowed to stay in the dormitories.

What to bring

The St. Mark’s Equipment Room will provide a T-shirt, shorts, and towel for use during the athletic seasons. Students can purchase shin-guards, mouth guards, soccer socks, and protective eyewear (field hockey). Please bring any other equipment needed for your sport. Also bring casual clothes, personal items, bedding (the School's contracted linen service is not available during preseason), and sunscreen. Every student must bring their own water bottle.

Medical Information

Ms. Maddock, the School's Certified Head Athletic Trainer, will be available throughout Preseason. Student-athletes who have medical information pertinent to their participating in preseason athletics should contact Health Services prior to arrival on campus at (508) 786-6371. A 24-hour nurse will also be on call in Health Services throughout preseason. All health records must be complete and on file in Health Services before students will be allowed to participate. All NEW students must take the Impact Test on Tuesday morning before competing. Students will not be allowed to remain on campus if their health records are not complete or on file in Health Services. Please contact Health Services at (508) 786-6371 with any questions.
