8:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Concussion Testing
All new students will complete concussion testing upon arrival at St. Mark’s. Boarding students can move into their rooms after completing the test. Day students can go to lunch after completing the test.
11:30-1:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00-3:30 p.m. - Varsity Practice Session
3:30-4:30 p.m. - Hydration Station (Athletic Quad)
All boarding students will be housed in their assigned dorm room for the school year during preseason. Boarders will receive their room assignment and key at registration under the tent. Houses open at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5 and day students will not be allowed to stay in the dormitories.
Please bring any equipment needed for your sport. Also bring casual clothes, personal items, bedding (the School's contracted linen service is not available during preseason), and sunscreen. Every student must bring their own water bottle. Students can purchase shin-guards, mouth guards, soccer socks, and protective eyewear (field hockey) from the St. Mark's Equipment Room.
Ms. Maddock, the School's Certified Head Athletic Trainer, will be available throughout preseason. Student-athletes who have medical information pertinent to their participating in preseason athletics should contact Health Services prior to arrival on campus at 508. 786.6371. A 24-hour nurse will also be on call in Health Services throughout preseason. All health records must be complete and on file in Health Services before students will be allowed to participate. Students will not be allowed to remain on campus if their health records are not complete or on file in Health Services. Please contact Health Services at 508.786.6371 with any questions.
