Dawn Sulmasy started her basketball career playing for Hopkinton High School. Dawn received the Coach’s Award her senior year for her exemplary work ethic. Following her high school career, she earned a roster spot for the Bentley University Women’s Basketball Team, playing for Naismith Hall of Fame Coach Barbara Stevens. During Dawn’s four years at Bentley, the team played in two NCAA Division II Final Four Tournaments and the Championship game her senior year. Dawn earned a scholarship and received the Coach’s Award for her leadership efforts. Dawn started her coaching career with two seasons as the freshman coach at Oliver Ames High School. She served as head coach for 12 seasons in the Wachusett Regional School District at Thomas Prince Middle School and five seasons as assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach at Acton Boxborough Regional High School. She has coached both boys and girls for Travel, AAU, and many high school summer league teams. From 2014-2019, Dawn was also the Girls’ Program Director for Basketball Specialist School/ Mass Select Basketball.

Dawn is a health and wellness mentor with personal clients and teaches classes on many topics, including whole foods nutrition, fermentation, mindfulness, guided meditation, and aromatherapy. She uses disciplines from both Eastern and Western cultures and has a certificate in Holistic Health Counseling from Columbia University’s Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She lives in Princeton, MA, with her husband and three children. Dawn enjoys spending time gardening, preserving food, and hiking with her chocolate lab.
