Dan Mercurio serves as Chief Communications Officer at St. Mark’s School, where he leads the School’s communications, marketing, storytelling, and brand strategy efforts. With a professional background spanning independent schools, higher education, and athletics, Dan brings extensive experience in building community engagement, strengthening institutional visibility, and advancing mission-driven communications. Prior to joining St. Mark’s in 2025, he held senior leadership roles at Bancroft School, Boston University, and the College of the Holy Cross, where his work focused on communications, student engagement, enrollment support, and organizational strategy.
Throughout his career, Dan has been passionate about connecting people through authentic storytelling and fostering meaningful relationships across school communities. He believes that strong communications can deepen engagement, celebrate achievements, and help institutions articulate their values and purpose. At St. Mark’s, he works closely with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families to share the stories that bring the School’s mission to life and strengthen connections within the St. Mark’s community and beyond.
