Before joining St. Mark’s as a computer science faculty member this fall, Pat Loranger was a PTR-certified tennis professional for nine years in the Greater Boston area. He spent seven years at the Natick Racquet Club (now Longfellow) and served as the director of the junior tennis program for three years. During his tenure, Pat conducted Natick’s varsity-level, high school training classes designed to sharpen the technical, tactical and mental skills needed to succeed in both the ISL, and the Dual County League for Massachusetts public schools. Players can expect a dynamic practice environment mixing a combination of high-energy, skill building drills and competitive game-play. Players will learn the footwork and movement patterns that top players use to maintain balance and defend the court more efficiently. Pat is thrilled for this opportunity and cannot wait for the season to begin. He looks forward to helping St. Mark’s athletes grow as people, players, and teammates.
