Coach Hutchinson began his wrestling career in Western PA at Sewickley Academy. He went on to captain the team at Amherst College. Between his junior and senior years, he wrestled freestyle with the Athletes-In-Action in Central and South America. After graduation, Coach Hutchinson coached at Canterbury School, Choate Rosemary Hall, St. Mark's School, and St. Andrew's School before returning to St. Mark's this year.

Jay rejoins the religion department at St. Mark's on a one-year appointment. Jay originally served on the St. Mark's faculty from 1996-2000 as Assistant to the Chaplain, religion teacher and coaches of Boys' Varsity Lacrosse, Wrestling, and Girls' Varsity Soccer teams. After leaving St. Mark's, Jay joined St. Andrew's School of Delaware, where he served ever since as Chaplain, teacher, coach, and enthusiastically embraced the many elements of their holistic educational community. In addition to his teaching responsibilities at St. Mark's Jay will coach two athletic seasons and live on campus with his wife and dog.
