Coaching Staff

Head CoachLauren Kelly is excited to head the new St. Mark’s volleyball program. In addition to piloting a volleyball program at another school, she has coached boy’s, girl’s, and coed teams for over eight years. She played on a state-championship team at Barnstable High School and went on to start on her college teams while playing for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and later Mount Holyoke College. She was one of the youngest CAP I certified coaches in the country at the age of 17, and she has participated in and supervised many summers of volleyball camps. Lauren believes that volleyball is a sport that combines strategy, strength, and teamwork perfectly, and she wants her players to have fun, work hard, and come together to grow and succeed.

Lina Long joined St. Mark's Mathematics Department after serving as a mathematics teacher for thirteen years at St John's High School where she taught a range of math classes form Algebra I to AP Calculus BC. Lina earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at University of Vermont and an M.S. in Education at UMass Boston. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with with her husband and three children. She loves running, hiking, swimming, and traveling.
