The long days of international travel, the stress of being away from home, and the daily stress of coping with an unfamiliar culture and school can be especially stressful and exhausting, therefore international students need to be especially intentional about living a healthy life style. Eating regular meals, getting adequate sleep, getting regular exercise, and participating in social activities will all combine to help international students adapt to St. Mark’s and will help them live a happy and healthy life in the US. International students should pay careful attention to managing their jet lag in healthy ways. Students who need help in any of these areas should see their Advisor, House Head, a member of Health Services, a Chaplain, the International Student Advisor or one of the Athletic Trainers.
