Asking for Help
Our international students tell us that one of the keys to staying healthy, and one of the most useful skills they have learned while at St. Mark’s, is asking for help. Students at St. Mark’s should feel comfortable asking for help and advice from any adult in the community that makes them feel comfortable. Advisors, House Heads, teachers, nurses and school counselors and the Chaplains are all available and eager to be helpful and supportive. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign of maturity and of taking responsibility for yourself.
