Southborough News - Main Street Construction
The Main Street Construction Project is set to begin on April 1 and will be completed in November 2020. Some early set-up, such as staking utility poles and marking trees is currently happening. Please note that this construction project may affect traffic into town and on to St. Mark's campus.

April 11 is Giving Day! #SMGivingDay
Giving Day is a 24-hour global event when our entire community comes together to demonstrate pride in our school and support our students and faculty with a gift to the Annual Fund. These gifts are vital to the School's mission to educate students to lead lives of consequence. Last year the St. Mark's community came together to surpass our goal of raising 360 gifts in a single day. This year we are reaching higher with a goal to inspire 600 gifts on Giving Day--one for every member of our community including students, faculty, and staff. You can lead by example and make your gift early to count toward our ambitious goal. If you already made an Annual Fund gift this year, please accept our sincere thanks for your generosity. We welcome you to be a part of this special day by sharing news about the event and considering an additional gift of any size.

If you have any questions please contact the event co-chairs, Silvy Brookby, Stephanie Gattuso, and Claudia Liberatore at Thanks to all of the parents who do so much for the School in support of this effort and our Annual Fund!

Parent Meetup Hosted by the Center & Parents' Association Meeting
All St. Mark's parents and guardians are invited to a substantive meetup hosted by the Center on Saturday, April 27, followed by the final Parents' Association meeting of the year. The joint program will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. The theme of the meetup, Parents as Partners in Our Students' Learning, acknowledges that "parents are untapped resources in the process of helping students identify academic interests and pursue further learning," as noted by psychology professor Dr. Judith Harackiewicz. The meetup is an informal event where educators and parents will learn from and with each other, and where families can connect more deeply with the work of the Center and the School. We have scheduled this event to coincide with St. Mark's Saturdays programming and the Parents' Association meeting to offer convenience and to maximize attendance. We hope you will attend and look forward to spending time with you! Learn more and register online today. Questions? Please contact Colleen Worrell, director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Email: | Phone: 508-786-4057
