Charles Sellers has taught Spanish, coached soccer and squash, and worked in the dorms at St. Mark's since 2006. Before starting at St. Mark's, Charles finished his Masters in Spanish at Middlebury College's campus in Madrid, Spain and spent two years teaching Spanish at Nardin Academy High School in Buffalo, NY. Prior to these experiences, he spent two years after college as a volunteer working with economically underprivileged families at the El Centro del Muchacho Trabajador in Quito, Ecuador. It was in Quito that Charles found his love for teaching and helping others. Since starting at St. Mark's, he has been fortunate to lead service trips to Ecuador and to the Dominican Republic. Charles is passionate about student centered learning, service, and the Spanish Language and tries to instill a similar interest in his students.
Mr. Sellars on Sabbatical for the 2020-2021 school year.
