Christopher Kent is the Director of the Theater Department at St. Mark's and also teaches English. He is an experienced actor, director, and playwright. He received his Masters degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis in Playwriting and Fiction and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. Chris's original plays have been produced in Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Pittsburg, Boston, and New York City. In 2019, Chris helped guide and direct St. Mark's participation in the American High School Theater Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Before coming to St. Mark's, Chris previously taught high school and middle school theater in Southern California. He lives on campus with his family.
