Jeniene Matthews joined St. Mark’s as a faculty member in the English Department in 2010 and became its Dept. Chair in 2017. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Mills College and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to joining St. Mark’s, Jeniene litigated antitrust class action matters, taught legal writing and research courses, and most recently worked as the manager of recruiting and professional development for a prominent Boston law firm. In 2014, Jeniene was appointed the Evill-Glavin Chair; established by the Forbes Foundation, which recognizes outstanding faculty members, Outside of the classroom, Jeniene is the Digital Learning Coach for faculty and staff and lives on campus with her husband, Gregory, and their son, Logan.
