Andrew Bergdahl became part of the St. Mark’s Math Department in the Fall of 2020 after serving as the Mathematics Department Chair of the Stoneleigh-Burnham School as well as as a summer instructor and dorm head at Phillips Academy Andover. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in Mathematics from Nicholls State University. In addition to his mathematical background, Andrew's work on linguistics instruction has been published in a book titled, "Teaching Language Variation in the Classroom." Andrew has also coached mathletes, volleyball, fencing, squash, ultimate frisbee, soccer, and outdoor club. He coaches JV soccer and thirds squash at St. Mark's and lives on campus with his wife, Anastasia, and 5 children, Audrey, Brigid, Thomas, Tobias, and Agatha.
