Annual Fund Leadership Giving
Founder's Associates
The Founder’s Associates, our Annual Fund leadership giving program, honors our founder, Joseph Burnett, and the role he and so many other St. Mark’s leaders exemplified in preparing generations of St. Mark’s students to live a life of consequence. By making the Annual Fund a philanthropic priority with gifts of $1,865 or more, you help make the St. Mark’s educational experience a reality. Consecutive Giving
Age Quod Agis Society
Named for our school motto, the Age Quod Agis Society is a recognition society created to acknowledge and celebrate St. Mark’s donors who give to the School every year.
Members include alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends who have made gifts to St. Mark’s for two or more consecutive years. Unfailing support, year after year, is what helps St. Mark’s accomplish its important mission to educate our students for lives of leadership and service.
Planned Giving
Androcles Society
From Roman legend, Androcles was a servant who removed a thorn from a lion’s paw and was loyally rewarded by the lion in the Colosseum. The Trustees of St. Mark’s wish to recognize the members of the Androcles Society who have provided for St. Mark’s in their estate plans.
Generations of St. Mark's alumni have shown their affection and appreciation for the School by making a planned gift. When they do, they become members of the Androcles Society.
In naming St. Mark's as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift, members ensure that a St. Mark's education will be available for future generations. Androcles Society members create a positive long-term impact on our School and are recognized with a special lapel pin which they can wear to School events and campus visits. In addition, they are invited to attend special events and major School activities, and receive “behind the scenes” communications to further connect them to the School they cherish.
Whether St. Mark's is named in your will, trust, insurance policy, or as a beneficiary of an IRA, we hope you will let us know so we can thank you and welcome you as a new Androcles Society member. If you are interested in learning more about bequests or life income gifts, we encourage you to contact us today at plannedgiving@stmarksschool.org or 508-786-6279.
Parent Leadership Circle
The Parents' Leadership Circle (PLC) is a recently established recognition program composed of our most generous parent donors. The PLC offers participants opportunities to deepen their connection with the School and parent community and to engage with School leaders twice a year in the fall and spring. Families who have generously contributed to St. Mark's at the Thayer Society level in the past year are immediately invited as members of the PLC.
Lifetime Honor Society
Great schools all have one thing in common: partners who help create and then support a school’s vision. St. Mark’s is fortunate to have many loyal and generous donors who have consistently supported the School over many years, and during our Lives of Consequence campaign. The Lifetime Honor Society was established to honor and celebrate the enduring commitment of these steadfast donors and the impact they have made in advancing the mission of our School.
The Lifetime Honor Society is comprised of three circles:
