Snow Update

February 12, 2017

Dear St. Markers,

Another snow storm has made its way to Southborough, and while it is expected to snow rather consistently between Sunday evening and Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service is predicting that the amounts should be more than manageable for local municipalities and their snow removal teams. Our own facilities staff will be working diligently to make sure our campus is cleared and safe as well.

With that in mind, St. Mark' School will operate under a slightly modified schedule for Monday, February 12, 2017, with classes beginning at 8:30 am. The modified schedule will be sent out shortly.

This also means that the Opera Trip is still booked for a noon departure. If you are scheduled to go on the Opera Trip, please make sure to look at the e-mail you received earlier today from Barbara Putnam.

Obviously the safety of our students, faculty, and staff is of paramount importance to the School. We encourage each of you to exercise your own judgement in determining whether or not to drive to St. Mark's on Monday morning. If you should determine that the travel is too dangerous, please stay home and contact the Dean's office ( or 508-786-6273) or your supervisor as is appropriate, to let them know that you will be absent for the day.

Thank you,
David Vachris
