Generations of St. Mark’s alumni have shown their affection for the School by making a planned gift: and when they do, they become members of the Androcles Society. For many, planned giving is the best way to deepen their connection to St. Mark’s and express appreciation to teachers, parents, and classmates who remind them of their own special time at the School. It also allows them to make a profound difference to St. Mark’s future by ensuring that it will continue to invest in the campus, faculty, and staff that serve as the cornerstone of the St. Mark’s educational experience.
Becoming a member of the Androcles Society creates a positive long-term impact on your School and provides other benefits as well. Members are honored with a special lapel pin, for example, which they can wear to School events and campus visits. In addition, they are invited to attend special events and major School activities and receive occasional “behind-the-scenes” communications to further connect them to the School they cherish.
Planned giving strategies, such as making provisions in wills or codicils, have occurred regularly through the School’s 150-year history and can be an uncomplicated process with the skilled guidance of the Planned Giving team.
